There is something about a rosé wine that makes us smile. It's a harmonious style of wine, using Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and a dash of estate-grown Riesling. Using the saignée method for the reds, and retaining the acidity of the Riesling with stainless steel fermentation, it's loved by both red and white wine enthusiasts alike.

A Note from Winemaker, Leo Gabica

“The 2023 vintage was a marathon for us - with the growing season having a brief rainfall in the middle of harvest, followed by a lingering late summer, the quality and quantity of the grapes were endless. I always have the dry rosé in my mind when harvest begins. As our Pinot Noir fruit was coming in from the vineyard, I was really enjoying the classic flavor profiles - and knew I wanted that to be captured in this vintage of rosé. 64% of this rosé is from our dry-farmed, estate-grown Pinot Noir. One of our longtime partner vineyards, Quail Run Vineyards, has stunning fruit quality, and I was taken by the Tempranillo. We added about 14% Tempranillo. To complete the blend, I really liked the acidity and flavor profile from our estate-grown Riesling. When you think of Riesling, you might think this wine will be sweet - where you will find the Riesling is through the floralness in the nose. One of our winery's favorite pairings with this wine is slow-roasted pork carnitas. This is a meal that begs for a gathering, something we all enjoy, and we hope you will bring this wine to your next meal or gathering. Cheers!”

This is an excellent wine throughout the warmer spring and summer days, but also in those early autumn evenings. This wine mirrors the feeling of the lingering summer, with a hint of that crisp autumn air. I really enjoy pairing this wine with late summer dishes, a couscous with tomato and feta or niçoise salad. - Yum!
