We enjoy making our Pinot Noir in a medium-bodied style. This wine can be enjoyed independently but will also stand up to more cuisines and dishes. Pinot Noir is the varietal that put Willamette Valley on the map and gained respect and appreciation globally. We are honored to be dry farming, hand harvesting, and producing a Pinot Noir that continues to show the beauty of the Willamette Valley.
A Note from Winemaker, Leo Gabica
"The 2022 vintage experienced a challenging start with snowfall in April. Luckily, the rest of the growing season was ideal growing conditions with a beautiful October. For our 2022 Pinot Noir, we've blended Pinot Noir from our estate with Davis Vineyards, which is just up the road from us. After the grapes were harvested by hand, we cold soaked for three days for a gentle maceration. After primary fermentation, we transported the wine to French oak barrels for 19 months: 11% new, 21% second-use, and 68% neutral. We want to highlight the flavors of our Pinot Noir but also bring it to a medium-body style. This is a bottle worth a cheer."
