90 Points, Wine Enthusiast : "The scent of an orange peel being rubbed against an Anjou pear slice beckons. There may even be tiny aromas of Thai basil and Gravenstein apples in the background. The wine's creamy texture escorts sweet and savory flavors of lemon Lifesavors, pair with soup dumplings stuffed with a spicy pork." - Michael Alberty, Wine Enthusiast
90 Points, Vinous : "The 2022 Pinot Gris is spicy with a savory blend of crushed green apples and mint. It opens with a pleasant inner sweetness, giving way to crisp orchard fruits guided by saline-tinged acidity. The 2022 finishes with medium length and a lovely inner tension." - Eric Guido, Vinous
A Note from Winemaker, Leo Gabica
"Our 2022 Vintage Pinot Gris is primarily estate grown - hand harvested from the Pinot Gris blocks located right in the heart of our vineyard. These blocks of Pinot Gris receive a touch less sun-exposure, allowing for the citrus and crisp apple flavors to be preserved. Fermented at a low temperature, we bring out the fruit-forward aromatics, and maintain the lively acidity. This wine is a dry white, but the Pinot Gris as a varietal is fruit-forward. Enjoy these aromas and surprises of flavors through to the finish. We added a touch of hand-harvested Pinot Gris from our Willamette Valley vineyard friends, Stroda Vineyards. This pure Willamette Valley Pinot Gris is sure to be your go-to wine."
