As a toast to our late founder, Dan Smith, we have named our sparkling wines for him in some way. Our 2022 Reverie Sparkling Rosé is named for all of Dan’s big dreams. He planted our vineyard on the weekends while owning and operating his commercial refrigeration business, and soon after, he started building our two winery facilities and patios.

His ideas often seemed endless, and he had the grit to see them through. We owe this beautiful winery to his dreams and dedication. We hope you share this bottle to celebrate life’s wonderful moments, both big and small.
 
A Note from Winemaker, Leo Gabica
"We hand-harvested our Chardonnay and part of Boss' Block Pinot Noir for this vintage of sparkling. The blend was a perfect 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. We briefly left the Pinot Noir on the skins to capture the soft pink color. The primary fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromatics. The wine was then placed in bottles and created using the traditional method. The bottles were en tirage for 15 months before being disgorged. This is a very dry wine, considered Extra Brut. This vintage experienced a challenging start with a few inches of snow after bud break. Fortunately, the fruit that sustained the late winter weather was beautiful. Enjoy our 2022 Reverie Sparkling, a toast to those who aren't afraid to dream."

This wine shines alongside lighter dishes like shellfish, roasted chicken, and salads - particularly a watermelon and feta salad (yum!). If you want something slightly more elevated, try seared duck breast or grilled salmon. As mentioned, this wine is named Reverie (noun): a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts, a daydream. Beautiful things are created and worth celebrating when you follow your dreams.
