"The 2021 growing season began with a late snow in our vineyard that lessened our yields in specific areas. As the growing season continued, we experienced a dry and warm weather pattern, allowing for prime ripening. We hand harvested our 2021 Estate Pinot Gris from our dry-farmed vineyard. The blocks we used are those that you can directly see as you drive up to our tasting room. Immediately after being harvested, we press the grapes and fermented in stainless steel tanks. I enjoy the aromatics, acidity and fruit-forward characteristics achieved. For this particular wine, I wanted you to taste the Pinot Gris as if you were standing with me surrounded by our vines. A slight minerality in the finish will mimic the refreshing breeze that often brings relief in the warm summer months. Enjoy this wine with a range of cuisines, it will pair with any season or occasion."
