Dark purple in the glass, our 2018 Syrah is lush, round, and robust with flavors and aromas of boysenberry, plum skin, and dried cherry. Notes of savory clove followed by a cabinet of spices flow from the first sip through to the finish where cedar, vanilla, and notes of fresh cracked white pepper are front and center. Lively and robust with solid tannins and acidity, pair with BBQ ribs and chicken, grilled meats, grilled vegetables, and lasagna. Aged hard cheeses like Pecorino, Comte, Gruyere, and Parmigiano are best. Syrahs are the perfect choice for apres-ski in the winter and barbecue nights in the summer.
